Also known as an EKG or ECG, an electrocardiogram allows us to examine patients’ hearts. The heart generates an electrical signal as it beats, and an electrocardiogram records those electric signals. Reviewing the signals allows our team to determine whether there are any heart irregularities or abnormalities.
